Open XSN File

An XSN extension file is a form template used by Microsoft InfoPath, a form design and creation program.

Microsoft InfoPath is an application used to develop XML-based data entry forms.

Its first release, InfoPath 2003, was as part of Microsoft Office 2003, then InfoPath 2003 Service Pack was released in July 2004, the latest release, Infopath 2010, was released within the Microsoft Office 2010 suite.

InfoPath is now part of the cloud-based suite, Office 365

The XSN file, for InfoPath, is saved as a compressed CAB (cabinet) file, which contains multiple files.

XSN files, being container files, include a schema file, in XSD format, a style sheet, in XSL format, also JS or VBS script files (In JavaScript or Visual Basic) and image files used by the form interface.
