Open WTL File

WTL is the acronym for Windows Test Log, and it is also the file extension commonly associated with the utility. Windows Test Log is a standard defined by Microsoft Corporation and they were also the creators of the WTL extension files.

The WTL file format belongs to the Document Files category.

The WTL files contain the error reports when performing performance tests, both hardware and software on the Windows operating system. Every time a test is completed, the status with the results appears in a window with the tree of the log files created, among them you can find the WTL files.

If a test fails, you can expand and then review the associated LOG files, either a LOG file, a WTL file or an XML file (this extension must be changed to WTL in order to view the content). WTL files are document type, and can be opened with any text editor.
