Open TEF File
The TEF extension file contains tablature and sheet music for the guitar and other fretted string instruments, including the mandolin and bass.
The TEF file also supports instruments such as the harmonica, mountain dulcimer, diatonic accordion, drums, violin, tin whistle, recorder, Xaphoon, autoharp, pedal steel guitar, and banjo.
Open a TEF file
Open a TEF file, the most common is to have the appropriate software installed.
This is the TablEdit, which will create the proper file association for the TEF format.
TablEdit is a program for creating, editing, printing and listening to tablature and sheet music, under standard notation, which is ideal for guitar and other fretted string instruments.
TEF files can also be viewed with a viewer called TEFView, which is an inexpensive file viewer for those musicians who don't need the full capabilities of TablEdit.
