Open STF File
STF files, up to now, have two different applications, namely:
Microsoft Exchange Server 2000
In this first case, an STF extension file is a temporary file created by Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server.
Microsoft Exchange Server is a messaging system that includes a mail server, an email program, and various group work applications.
It is basically a user collaboration software product developed by Microsoft.
It is part of the Microsoft Servers line of server products and is widely used by large enterprises.
The STF file contains temporary data stream information used in the content conversion process, however it is a temporary file and is automatically removed by the storage process.
STF files are located in the 'Mdbdata' directory of an Exchange 2000 Server installation.

In this second case, the STF file is a configuration file used by older versions of Microsoft programs.
It refers, to Microsoft programs, those such as:
The STF file contains rich text, although some versions are raw, tab-delimited settings for a program.
Such file is used for tests after the administrative installation, and thus avoid reinstalling the programs, it usually uses the name Setup.stf.
For this application, the STF file is a rich text file that can be opened with Microsoft Works.
