Open QIC File

A file with the QIC extension is a backup of a Windows system file.

Windows Restore

It is a system integrated into Windows-based operating systems, in their most recent versions, which allows system restoration, in cases of failure and breaks in the boot record line, to a point determined by the user, or, in any case, in an automated way.

QIC file function

The QIC extension file restores the original file if it is deleted or corrupted, and is directly referenced by the Windows Restore program during the system restore process.

The QIC file is a system file and is not normally accessible to users, however, if you happen to have one handy, opening it manually is not recommended as it may cause damage to the original file.
