Open LWP File

An LWP file is created by an office or word processing software called Lotus Word Pro, thus being a text file.

The Lotus Word Pro software is the word processing software developed by the Lotus Development company and is part of the Lotus Smart Suite, IBM's office suite par excellence.

The LWP file is designed to be used by IBM OS/2 and Microsoft Windows enabled versions of Lotus Word Pro. This program was initially based on Ami Pro, a word processor created and used by Samna, acquired by Lotus in the 90s.

The LWP file is used to save various types of documents, including reports and proposals, and contains various types of text elements, such as graphics, tables, formulas, fonts, and other elements in the document.

In addition to the Lotus Word Pro software, the LWP file can be opened and printed using Verity KeyView for Lotus which is compatible with the Windows operating system.
