Open KAR File

KAR extension files are MIDI files for karaoke use and are used by many karaoke programs. KAR files could be created by various MIDI editing applications.

KAR files, as a format, are classified as audio files. Acronym KAR is short for karaoke.

KAR files also work to reference the locations of MIDI audio tracks, categorized into groups, and also all the metadata information associated with those tracks.

To open and operate a KAR file, you must have one of the following software installed:

• Nullsoft Winamp Media Player
• Karafun
• QuickTime Player
• Apple Logic Pro
