Open IFF File
An IFF extension file is a universal file format created by Electronic Arts.
IFF file can contain image, text or audio data and is used to exchange different types of data between applications and platforms.
IFF files, being universal, are compatible with a wide variety of programs and are in fact used as the basis for other file formats, such as AIFF.
A clear example are those IFF files that are used by The Sims and The Sims Online, which can be edited using IFF Snooper for the Mac platform or IFF Pencil for Windows.
