Open GSM File

This file format is generally used in mobile phones.

The GSM file format was specifically designed for telephone use and optimized for self-voice recording of any type of telephone conversation.

GSM files can be compressed and uncompressed for the purpose of reducing storage size.

GSM files are losslessly compressed, consisting of a stream of bits encoded in audio format.

GSM, however, is generally based on an audio data format or container with a defined storage layer.
