Open FDR File

FDR is a file extension commonly associated with Final Draft Document files. Final Draft defined the Final Draft Document format standard. This file format is compatible with both Mac OS and Windows platforms, as long as they have Final Draft Document software installed. Files with the FDR extension are text files.

Final Draft is script writing and formatting Award Winning Software, primarily for film, theater, and television. It can also be used to write basic books, novels, plays, and text documents.

The FDR file extension is also used as an error log file generated by Microsoft in the Windows operating system. In this case, the FDR file is not designed to be opened as it is used for debugging purposes.
