ConceptDraw PRO is proprietary diagramming software used to create business graphics including: diagrams, flowcharts, infographics, data visualization for business process models, data presentation, and project management documentation.
ConceptDraw is available in Office, MINDMAP, PRO, and PROJECT editions, but only the PRO version opens and saves CDD files.
In this particular case, the CDD file contains a drawing, either a conceptual diagram or a flowchart, as well as a shape, graph, diagram, and person that the user has inserted.
CDDZ extension files, in addition to the usual diagrams and drawings created by the program, can also contain program code written in a scripting language called ConceptDraw Basic, which allows users to automatically manipulate drawing objects.
This feature is commonly used to automate repetitive tasks.
CDD files can be converted to and from VSD and VSDX files and can also be exported to PDF and PPT files.
Note: CDD files can also be used for other technical drawing software packages, which may be compatible with ConceptDraw.
