Open AFI File

AFI files are generated by medical imaging software and contain information in medical instrument specific format. AFI format originated from Leica Biosystems. AFI file format is described on Bio-Formats AFI page. AFI file format could be parsed by Bio-Formats Library.

OpenSlide is a C language library which can open and read AFI file. It also has support for SVS, TIF, VMS, VMU, NDPI, SCN, MRXS, TIFF and SVSLIDE file formats.

In order to open AFI file make sure that you have one of the above libraries or applications installed and double click on the AFI file to open.
